Lawson F. Ellinor
Chief Executive Officer
Lawson serves as Education Partner’s Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the company’s vision, growth strategy, product and technology solutions, and business execution. He is committed to delivering a SaaS solution singularly focused on bringing the power of big data, analytics, technology, and automation to higher education.
Lawson brings over 25 years of successful global business and senior leadership experience in the technology and services industries. He has held senior leadership positions with Bazaarvoice, Dell, and IKON where he directed corporate strategy, product development, marketing, sales, and service delivery; as well as, successful launches of new business lines and entries into new markets.
Lawson earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
Chief Financial Officer + Chief Operating Officer
Karrin serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Education Partners. She is responsible for all aspects of Finance and Business Operations, including client success, professional services, customer support, financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, and treasury.
Karrin brings more than 18 years of experience in Finance and Operations working for private and publicly held companies across industries. She was most recently the Chief Financial Officer for Double Line Partners, a technology provider to the K-12 education sector. Prior to Double Line, Karrin was the Global Corporate Controller for JMJ Associates with responsibility for the worldwide accounting function. Karrin has also held several Finance and Operations leadership roles at Dell in the Americas and Europe. Prior to Dell, she held roles at Cirrus Logic and Ernst & Young.
Karrin is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a member of the AICPA. She is also green belt certified in Business Process Improvement. She has a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Senior Vice President, Product + Engineering
Andrew McCann leads Education Partners’ product and engineering teams.
Prior to joining EP, Andrew was responsible for product development for Macmillan Learning’s STEM group, including online homework and adaptive solutions serving hundreds of thousands of students across eight major academic disciplines.
In 2006 he founded Waypoint Outcomes, the first SaaS competency-based assessment solution, and grew it to serve 50+ institutions across the US, UK, and Canada including the Wharton School of Business, San Jose State University, and Texas A&M University. Waypoint was acquired by Bridgepoint Education (NYSE: BPI) in 2009 and Andrew joined Bridgepoint to lead product development in assessment and digital publishing verticals.
Andrew holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MA in English Literature. He taught engineering design and humanities in Drexel University’s interdisciplinary first-year engineering curriculum for ten years. He blogs at EdUnbound.com and you can follow him @ajmcc.
Director of Marketing
Ashley leads all marketing initiatives for Education Partners including strategy, communications, demand generation, product marketing and branding. She brings more than 10 years of technology and SaaS marketing leadership to the Education Partner’s team.
Prior to Education Partners, Ashley held marketing leadership positions with several high-growth, disruptive technology companies. As Director of Marketing at DigitalGlobe, she led all marketing efforts for the company’s global Oil and Gas sector. As Director of Marketing at Innography, she led all marketing efforts that restored growth to the company and ultimately led to its successful exit in 2015. At DrillingInfo, she held a variety of marketing leadership roles and was a key contributor to the company’s growth and record $165M funding round.
Ashley has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas State University and is the proud mother of two daughters.
